ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our busy Despatch team. As a Despatch Operative, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are packed, labelled, and loaded accurately and efficiently – ready to reach our customers on time.
We have two opportunities currently available for each of the shifts which are:
06:00 - 16:00 And 10:00 - 20:00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manual off loading and loading of vehicles.
• Taking delivery of goods and supplies.
• Movement of goods into and out of the cold store and vehicles using various power trucks.
• The re-palletisation of goods where necessary.
• General housekeeping in loading bays, yard and cold store areas.
• Completing paperwork and using handheld scanners or other systems (where required.)
• Picking and scanning orders for despatch.
• Storing goods in line with instructions.
• Completing process documentation as vehicles are off loaded and loaded.
• Ensure tasks are carried out with the utmost accuracy.
• Adhere to procedures relating to the use and care of equipment and materials.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Bankman tasks.
• Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Despatch Supervisor.
