DESPATCH OPERATIVES – TANKERSLEY, BARNSLEY

Our client is a manufacturing company based in Tankersley, Barnsley who are looking for a dedicated Despatch Operatives to join their busy, friendly team.
This will be a varied role, which involves training in all aspects of the Factory offering a permanent position for someone looking to build a long-term career.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a manufacturing or despatch role would be required
• Full training will be provided for the right candidate
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery would be a benefit
• Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
• Good physical fitness for manual handling and lifting.
• Ability to work well in a tea

• Stacking, strapping and palletising of finished products ready for despatch
• Manual handling of products weighing up to 25kg
• Quality checking of manufactured goods before despatch
• Completion of paperwork when needed
• Loading and unloading
• Follow all safety guidelines and use protective equipment where required
