JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Fork Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. Are you self motivated, reliable, work well under pressure and dedicated? If you are then we would like to hear form you.
As part of a small team, your work will involve picking orders in preparation for the day shift and organisation finished product as well as the despatching of goods working collaboratively with various departments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a FLT Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong logical understanding and ability to understand product configuration.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations.
• Competence in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Operate counterbalanced Fork Truck.
• Unloading finished product off the production line when required.
• Replenishing empty pallets and general FLT duties when required.
• From order picking sheet ensure the correct picking of products onto pallets with accurate detail on paperwork
• General care/checks of FLT and reporting any defects.
• Storing of pallets, consumables, raw materials safely and in an organised manner
• Keeping the yard tidy and clear of debris
• Loading of export containers ensuring correct documentation as per company procedures
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork is detailed
