Our mission is to deliver authentic and flavorful street tacos using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, all served in a lively and inviting atmosphere. We're committed to providing exceptional dining experiences that keep our customers coming back for more. We are seeking a talented and passionate cook to join our kitchen team at Desperados. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our delicious street tacos while helping to maintain a fast-paced and efficient kitchen operation. Requirements Responsibilities: Prepare and cook a variety of street taco dishes according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure that all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely, following health and sanitation guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours. Monitor food supplies and communicate inventory needs to the management team. Assist in the development of new menu items and specials. Qualifications: Previous experience working as a cook or line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and cooking techniques. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and thrive in a high-pressure environment. Attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
