REQUIREMENTS

Fred. Olsen is seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or travel-related role, ideally within a cruise line or tour operator environment.
  • Experience in coordinating or delivering excursions or events is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Confident public speaker, able to deliver engaging destination presentations.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Computer literate, with knowledge of reservation and inventory systems (experience with Fidelio is a plus).
  • Other:
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of international travel destinations and cultural sensitivity.
Responsibilities
  • Assisting in the organization, promotion, and delivery of shore excursions.
  • Supporting the coordination of excursion logistics, including liaising with local tour operators, transportation providers, and port agents.
  • Delivering informative and engaging destination presentations to guests.
  • Handling guest inquiries and providing expert advice on excursions and destinations.
  • Collaborating with the Destinations Manager to resolve guest feedback or concerns related to shore excursions.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks, including excursion bookings, inventory management, and financial reporting.
