Description

At Exodus, we love adventure travel and always have. We first took a group of travellers to the Himalaya 50 years ago and have since expanded to every continent of the planet. Today, we offer hundreds of itineraries across the globe, focusing on responsible travel that supports local communities and preserves the environment while aiming to provide meaningful experiences to all who travel with us.
We are looking to hire a Destination Manager - Product Development to join our team! Reporting to our Product & Commercial Director, this brand-new role is all about pushing boundaries and bringing to life unforgettable travel experiences that excite, inspire, and stand out.
As traveller expectations continue to evolve, we’re looking for someone who doesn’t just keep up, but gets ahead of the curve. You’ll spot the trends before they go mainstream, dream up original concepts, and work globally to turn great ideas into groundbreaking adventures. You’ll also help shape and evolve our existing range, keeping it fresh, relevant and packed with reasons to book!

Responsibilities
  • Lead our product innovation strategy, bringing fresh thinking that aligns with our brand vision and commercial goals.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the industry and our competitors, identifying emerging trends and translating them into viable product ideas.
  • Partner with overseas suppliers to design, contract, and deliver new itineraries and experiences that engage our customers and meet our commercial targets.
  • Work seamlessly with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to ensure flawless product launches and maximum impact.
  • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle (from concept to market launch) ensuring every new product hits the mark.
  • Continuously review and improve our product performance, using insights and feedback to keep us ahead of the game.
  • Champion a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging experimentation, curiosity and willingness to change.
  • Build positive relationships across the business, making sure new product initiatives are adopted, supported and celebrated.
  • Be responsible for the innovation budget and prioritise resources to deliver the biggest return.
