Duties and Responsibilities:  * Cleaning and detailing cars and trucks for inventory and delivery. * Teaching crew how to be efficient while cleaning vehicles without jeopardizing company standards. * Maintaining inventory; Keeping vehicles clean and prepared for showing. * Moving vehicles on lot as directed by Sales Manager. * Communicate well between departments and within your shop.  * Sitting in on the morning sales meetings to track what is needed for the sales department. * Managing the cycle time of a vehicle from acquisition/arrival to completion * Keeping the lot neat and picking up any debris and straightening the lot * Transporting vehicles, filling deliveries with gas, and taking sold inventory to be prepared * Transporting vehicles to various lot locations as directed by Sales Manager * Responsible for the purchase of chemicals and safe storing of these products * Coordinating detail shops work schedule. * Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments. * Maintains awareness of safety and follows workplace safety requirements. * Assist the service department when needed. * Responsible for other duties as directed/needed. Job Qualifications:  * Ability to speak and listen effectively one on one. * Good organizational skills. * Valid driver’s license.  Education and/or Experience:  * High school diploma or GED Equivalent. * Automotive detail experience 1-2 years. * Buffing specialization helpful. Responsibilities
