Description Details and cleans inside and outside of generator enclosures and complete minor repairs Available Shifts: Day Shift- 6:00-4:30pm Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities Inspect products to verify that optional equipment changes have been made according to customer specifications. Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components. Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs. Complete work according to specified schedule and complete traveler documents in detail. Clean up work area and return tools and supplies to appropriate places each day. Assist Electricians to hook up dehumidifiers Minor repairs and paint touch-ups Shrink wrap buildings and get them ready to ship Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others. Perform additional duties as requested Requirements Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Flexibility and ability to work under production pressure. Ability to work in cooperation with other team members. Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, work on knees for extended periods of time, work on ladders at heights and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work in enclosed spaces for extended periods of time. Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements. Additional skills desired: Detail oriented. Prior industrial painting experience, auto painting may be suitable exp. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification. Educational Requirements/Degree(s) High School Diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.
Responsibilities
The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing generator enclosures, performing minor repairs, and preparing units for shipment. This includes inspecting products, gathering supplies, and maintaining a clean work area.
