Description Car detailers provide automotive interior and exterior cleaning services that meet company or client specifications. They handle everything from a simple wash and vacuum to more intensive cleaning jobs, including hand washing vehicles, steaming and deodorizing interiors, and applying waxes, polishes, or protective agents to cars. To be a successful car detailer, you should be committed to providing excellent service to customers. Employees must perform the following daily Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests. Operating buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations. Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles. Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition. Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations or picking owners or drivers up if needed. Managing inventory and reordering supplies. Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests. Assist in maintaining a clean, uncluttered work area. Wash and detail vehicles. Requirements General knowledge of Company’s vehicle maintenance and clean up policies/procedures. Ability to clean all types of vehicles thoroughly, inside and out, to the dealership’s standards. Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing requirements and work well under different environment conditions. Ability to bend, stoop, reach and retrieve; lift, move, carry, and load items of various sizes and weights (up to 125 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods. Needs to be able to drive a variety of vehicle types and work in various weather conditions. Possess attention to detail with excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, Attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Have cooperative attitude, be team oriented, reliable, and be able to follow directions without issue. Prior detailing experience preferred.
