SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

• Software design and development skills, combined with a strong sense for quality
• Experience in state-of-the-art frontend technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience with agile software engineering
• Hands on experience in test automation
• Good analytical skills with an ability to handle complexity
• Customer focus: should be able to participate in troubleshooting critical customer problems
• Good English speaking and writing

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

• University Degree in information technology, mathematics, engineering or related area

WORK EXPERIENCE

• Up to 1 years practical coding experience and / or coming directly from university with relevant knowledge.

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

Individualized products are a top priority for customers. To make this happen they must manage the increasing product variance efficiently. SAP’s aim to provide a new variant configuration solution based on the Advanced Variant Configuration Engine.
As a member of our development team you will participate in building state of the art Fiori applications in S/4 HANA Advanced Variant Configuration, enable customers to leverage the capabilities of the new engine.
Being part of a cross-functional team and of an international engineering unit, we build on your ability to be a team player, on your cross-cultural sensitivity, and on your strong communication and presentation skills.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

• Work in a scrum team and apply agile software engineering methods in your daily work
• Take over responsibility for design, test / test automation, implementation and maintenance of complex product features
• Understand the business requirements of the stakeholders and translate them to application design
• Contribute to proof of concepts and collaborate closely with customers and partners
• Continuously enhance your knowledge, keep up with latest technology trends, and exchange knowledge and experience with your colleagues
