EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • University degree (Bachelor, Diploma, Master) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related fields with above average results
  • Experience with ABAP, ABAP OO
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Customer and quality focus

  • SAP related experience is preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in software development process and SAP experience during this time is preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY & ROLE INFORMATION:

S/4 HANA Customer Safeguarding Team supports customers in an easy end-to-end implementation experience of S/4 HANA applications in all deployment options, especially for S/4 HANA Cloud, and enables customers to consume SAP’s innovation on a continuous basis by providing business configuration infrastructure. The team will focus on development support of customer incidents preventing escalations for S/4 HANA Best Practice Content related incidents. The team will support the cloud lifecycle including Upgrades and Updates of customer systems.

For this team we are looking for a highly motivated developer with ABAP knowledge to support us in our mission to safeguard our customer deployments by ensuring the content lifecycle based on content framework, including integration and activation of highly integrated business content for our customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Among other responsibilities, you should expect to do many of the following:

  • Investigate, analyze complex problems; and resolve critical content related issues for S/4 HANA customers.
  • Managing internal and external escalations incl. Customer communication (if required).
  • Providing timely and ongoing regular updates and solutions to SAP customers according to our Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Temporarily safeguard customers in critical/escalated situations.
  • Think independently and apply effective problem-solving skills.
