POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Developer/DevOps Engineer with strong RAN domain experience to support a Tier-1 customer’s cloud-native wireless network transformation through vRAN and Open RAN initiatives. The role focuses on deploying, automating, and managing virtualized RAN infrastructure across multi-vendor environments.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5+ years in DevOps, software development, or systems engineering
  • Hands-on experience with RAN architecture, including CU/DU components and 5G radio interfaces
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and RedHat OpenShift
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with O-RAN specifications and interfaces
  • Working knowledge of NFV and CNF environments

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Dell infrastructure and vRAN software stacks
  • Understanding of 5G deployment and C-Band spectrum integration strategies

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for vRAN and Open RAN components
  • Automate deployment and lifecycle management of RAN software across Kubernetes-based platforms
  • Collaborate with vendors (e.g., Ericsson) to integrate RAN solutions into customer infrastructure
  • Support C-Band traffic migration to cloud-native RAN platforms
  • Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for performance and reliability assurance
  • Validate and test multi-vendor RAN components in lab and field environments
  • Ensure compliance with Open RAN (O-RAN) standards and interface requirements
