A Developer Experience (DX) Engineer focuses on optimizing the experience of software developers within an organization. They improve the tools, processes, and environments developers use, aiming to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and satisfaction. This role is crucial for fostering a positive and productive development environment, ultimately contributing to better software products and a more engaged development team. Success in this role requires deep coding expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen understanding of developer needs.
You will report to a studio Development Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Software engineer.
  • Experience using Perforce or Git-based workflows for code management
  • Experience with Python, C#, or C++
  • Understand software configuration management and release management.
  • Previous experience work with CI/CD frameworks (such as Jenkins) is a plus
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA.
  • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for internal and external use.
  • Passion for automation and workflow efficiency.
