Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Developer (Full Stack, Cloud, AI & Platform Delivery) for our Duxford, UK location. Role Purpose We are seeking a highly hands-on Developer to design, build, and deliver modern enterprise applications across the full software lifecycle. This is an end-to-end ownership role, responsible not only for development but also for build, deployment, release, and production support. You will work across the full stack while embedding AI-driven capabilities, including prompt-engineered and data-grounded (RAG-based) solutions, into business applications. Over time, you will contribute to platform design, architectural direction, and engineering standards, with a clear path toward technical leadership. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations: End-to-End Engineering & Delivery (Core Focus) Release Management & Production Support Cloud, DevOps & Infrastructure Containerization & Modern Platform Engineering AI & Intelligent Solutions Architecture & Technical Growth Collaboration & Delivery Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with: C# / .NET React Bicep (Infrastructure as Code) CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions) GitHub workflows Containerisation (Docker) Prompt engineering for LLM-based solutions (structured prompting, chaining, and output validation) Experience building or integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines (e.g. embeddings, vector search, data grounding) Proven experience delivering end-to-end solutions into production Experience building APIs and microservices Strong experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, Cloud & Platform Engineering AI & Modern Development Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking Proactive, self-driven learner Candidates must be eligible to work in the country where the position is based.
