Description
Job Ad Guru Pay is an EMI based in Lithuania, with a mission to deliver personalized, boutique financial services to B2B, B2C, and C2B customers. Our team is compact and highly ambitious, focusing on speed, security, and top-tier quality in everything we do. We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to join our growing engineering team. This is a hands-on technical role where quality isn’t just something you test for: it's something you build into the process from day one. You will help us define, implement, and scale a test automation strategy that ensures the resilience of our API-first payments platform and customer portal. If you are someone who sees quality as a shared responsibility, loves solving complex problems with code, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams, this could be the challenge you have been seeking. What will you do: Build and maintain a robust regression testing platform across multiple environments, covering our RESTful APIs and user-facing portal Drive test coverage across our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring early detection of issues and faster deployments Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and SREs to ensure features are testable, reliable, and built with quality from the ground up Introduce and promote behavior-driven development (BDD) practices (Given/When/Then) across teams Define and drive our automation testing strategy, including the selection and integration of modern QA tools Contribute to QA governance by documenting test processes, standards, and ensuring audit-ready execution records What we expect: 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or similar role in a modern engineering environment Proven track record of building and operating automated regression testing platforms (scheduling, reporting, environment control) Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (we use PHP) Deep understanding of testing strategies — from integration and contract testing to end-to-end and regression Solid knowledge of "shift-left" quality practices and experience embedding testing early in the SDLC Strong communication skills in English Willingness to work 3 days per week from our Vilnius office, with the rest of the time working remotely from anywhere in Lithuania Nice to haves: Experience in FinTech, payments, or regulated industries Familiarity with BDD tools (e.g., Cucumber, Behave) and aligning test scenarios with business logic Knowledge of performance, security, or reliability testing Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like Datadog or Grafana What will you get: A starting salary of 5000 EUR Gross (negotiable based on experience) 2nd pillar pension coverage Encouragement and budget to support your professional development and certifications Extra vacation day on your birthday Hybrid work options between our Vilnius office and anywhere in Lithuania Regular workations, health challenges, and other team initiatives A team that values code quality, end-user experience, and continuous improvement
