MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Criminal Justice, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, Cyber Security, International Affairs, or related field and 5 years of experience in the progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
  • Requires 5 years of experience in the following:

    1. Threat investigations, law enforcement investigations or intelligence


      1. Working on proactive investigations that did not originate from an automated alert


        1. Conducting open source investigations or investigations on behalf of a technology company


          1. Data misuse, APIs, privacy, 3rd party risk management, or mobile apps


            1. Working with sensitive issues that include graphic violence, a variety of religious and political views, and adult content


              1. Drafting analytical reports and documenting technical and non-technical evidence and findings


                1. Modern technical scaling and automation/AI tools including, but not limited to, large language models (LLMs)


                  1. SQL or other data analytics programming language


                    1. Using analysis tools similar to Maltego or Tableau

                    Responsibilities
                    • Investigate complex cases using a variety of methodologies (on and off platform) to understand how abuse occurs and identify the person(s) responsible.
                    • Identify enforcement strategies to mitigate harm in the current case and from similar abuse.
                    • Document findings in high quality and concise investigative reports while managing sensitive or confidential data.
                    • Conduct research to identify broader patterns of abuse and develop strategies to prevent and disrupt threats, at scale, that can impact our API products.
                    • Manage, coordinate, and/or support projects to improve investigative or business processes as needed.
                    • This role may require on-call shifts outside of normal business hours (On-call shifts can extend weekly work hours by up to 10 hours).
