Job Description: Department Overview Developer Relations Office is responsible for process improvement of overall recruiting, branding EVP, development of new and enhancement of existing recruiting channels for Rakuten Tech Community for both new grads and mid-career hiring, its main focus is on Rakuten’s Technology Divisions. Our Tech. Divisions provides infrastructure platforms to enable complex transactions in Rakuten ecosystem and leverage AI and data science for best in class customer experience. Why We Hire We target to acquire top-notch engineers. We expect to maximize and optimize the flow of such candidates, collaborating with hiring managers and talent acquisition team to build world-class engineering team. We are looking for a talent who can own Talent Acquisition plan development and execution for Technology Divisions for Japan and overseas subsidiaries. Position Details Study and analyze current recruiting processes to identify areas for improvement Develop and execute plans for improvement, manage initiatives and projects including internal and external stakeholder management Study and analyze tech talent market and hiring competitors and targets to establish branding strategy and to develop action plans Plan for talent sourcing strategies for each channel Develop new and enhance existing recruiting channels such as agencies, Tech Communities and Universities Set and track appropriate KPIs to identify challenges in each recruiting steps Mandatory Qualifications: Strong project management with 3+ years in-house experience Ability to communicate and adapt well in a diversified organization Fluent Japanese Advanced English (TOEIC score of 800 or above) Desired Qualifications: Recruiting or any other HR-related experience preferably in Japan Experience with project planning and designing Experience working in the IT industry Recruiting experience for engineers Fluent in languages other than Japanese and English (e.g. Mandarin, Hindi, etc) #corporate #HR #strategyplanning #technologyservicediv #technologyplatformdiv Languages: English (Overall - 3 - Advanced) In Japanese, Rakuten stands for ‘optimism.’ It means we believe in the future.
