You’ll join a collaborative team based in Collins Street, contributing to national programs and supporting the evolution of Service Stream’s ServiceNow ecosystem. Please note this role is only open to Australian Citizens. About the Role • Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow platform solutions, with a strong focus on Field Service Management (FSM). • Build and maintain platform functionality using configuration‑first principles and customisation only where necessary. • Develop high‑quality server‑side and client‑side logic using Script Includes, Business Rules, Glide APIs, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and more. • Design and implement reusable automation using Flow Designer, Subflows, and IntegrationHub. • Contribute to core ServiceNow modules including ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and CMDB. • Support multi‑domain architectures, enabling parallel delivery across business streams. • Apply ServiceNow security best practice across roles, ACLs, domain separation, and data segregation. • Build and support integrations using REST APIs, MID Servers and event‑driven patterns. • Configure and enhance ServiceNow Mobile and Service Portal components for FSM and ITSM workflows. • Ensure all developed solutions are upgrade‑safe, scalable, and performant. • Provide Level 3 support, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative fixes. • Work closely with architects, product owners, and delivery teams to translate requirements into secure and scalable platform solutions. Skills and experience • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Proven hands‑on experience developing and configuring on the ServiceNow platform, with deep exposure to FSM. • Demonstrated experience prioritising configuration over customisation, applying best‑practice design principles. • Strong proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and Glide APIs including GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideSystem, and Script Includes. • Practical experience designing workflows and subflows in Flow Designer using low‑code, reusable patterns. • Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules including ITSM and CMDB. • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and experience delivering ITIL-aligned solutions. • Experience working in multi-domain or multi-business environments. • Sound understanding of ServiceNow security models, roles, ACLs, and domain separation. • Experience designing and supporting REST integrations, IntegrationHub spokes, and MID Server‑based patterns. • Ability to contribute to controlled change and release cycles including SIT, UAT, deployments, and post‑release validation. • Experience configuring ServiceNow Mobile and Service Portal aligned to best practice. • Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments. Experience •Must be an Australian citizen. • 5+ years ServiceNow development experience. • Strong background in platform scripting, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps). • Proven ability to analyse, debug, and resolve complex technical issues. • Experience producing upgrade‑safe, optimised, and maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
