We’re looking for a passionate development architect to join our unit for localization of SAP flagship product S/4HANA in the area of Financials.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging development projects in an international setting, while engaging closely with customers or partners in the countries. This will help you to expand your personal competence in SAP business applications and stay up-to-date with the latest innovative technologies, as the demands for localization continue to evolve.

In this role you will:

• Lead our engineering team in terms of development and architecture decisions, for the entire development lifecycle of applications in localization domains like tax, invoicing, payment, and reporting, including requirement analysis, architect, implementation, test, subsequent maintenance and legal changes.
• Lead by demonstrating excellence in software development and promoting best practices within your team and beyond
• Ensure the proper architecture roll-in/roll-out and execution in engineering team, working closely with engineering lead, peer architects and other experts.
• Utilize cutting-edge technologies, including Generative AI, to address real-world business scenarios in localization domain.
• Coach and advise developers, and other experts in the team to develop the technical and development skills.
• Support and advise product management regarding technical and architectural feasibility, implications, readiness, and compliance.
