Description
Description Development Asset Manager - Hotel and Multifamily Location: Austin, TX (preferred) or San Antonio, TX (with travel) Travel: Up to 60% About the Opportunity Join a landmark project that’s redefining Austin’s skyline. Rising as the tallest building in Texas, Waterline brings together luxury living, world-class hospitality, and inspired design in one extraordinary destination. You’ll work with a premier hotel brand and an elite development team to shape one of the most anticipated mixed-use properties in the state. What You’ll Do Hotel Asset Management Review and analyze monthly and quarterly operator financials, STR reports, and performance metrics. Benchmark results against budget, pro formas, and industry KPIs (RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP, NOI). Serve as primary liaison between ownership and the hotel operator/brand. Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reviews. Oversee revenue management, pricing, and segmentation strategy. Evaluate marketing and sales initiatives for ROI and brand alignment. Monitor service quality, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Drive integration between hotel operations and mixed-use amenities (parking, F&B, resident access, etc.). Prepare ownership reports and dashboards summarizing financials, risks, and opportunities. Multifamily Asset Management Guide the residential side of Waterline to operational and financial success. Oversee asset preservation: acceptance, warranty walks, and ongoing inspections. Maintain real-time market intelligence through competitive property visits and pipeline tracking. Support lease-up performance — analyze traffic, pricing, leasing velocity, and marketing effectiveness. Provide budget oversight and identify revenue opportunities (ancillary income, amenity monetization, cross-selling with hotel/retail). Coordinate with operations teams to resolve leasing or performance challenges. Prepare assets for disposition by managing capital needs and due diligence. Produce regular reporting, strategic plans, and market analysis. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or related field (experience may offset education). 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years managing hospitality or hotel assets. Strong financial and analytical acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property management systems (Yardi, RealPage, or Entrata). Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and relationship management skills — able to engage confidently with operators, ownership, and brand partners. Intellectual curiosity and a passion for creating long-term value in mixed-use assets.
