POSITION SUMMARY

The Nature Conservancy of Canada Ontario Region, is seeking an individual to fill the position of Development Assistant.
The Development Assistant will be responsible for updating information in the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database to generate accurate queries, providing administrative support for the entire Development Department, and participating in the coordination and organization of recognition and fundraising events and activities in line with NCC’s mission.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of the basic rules and sequences involved in organizing an event;
  • Ability to take on multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines;
  • Ability to handle and manage highly confidential information;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • High level of attention to detail, intellectual rigor, attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong team spirit;
  • Curiosity, willingness to learn
  • Appreciation of the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s mission and willingness to learn more about it;
  • Interest and openness to equity, diversity and inclusion in internal and external tasks.
  • Spoken and written French required
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge or a similar fundraising database
  • Knowledge of fundraising
