Many Hands is seeking a Development Associate to join our team and become the operational heart of our fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing the relationships that fuel our local and global mission. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to create an exceptional donor experience, drive growth, and be a key player in a high-impact environment. What You'll Do Relationship Impact Management: Drive engagement: Execute a comprehensive plan to thank and engage donors, with a special focus on first-time givers and those with the potential to give more. Build relationships: Deepen connections with new and existing donors through personal contact, emails, letters, and phone calls. Grow our mission: Lead the growth of our monthly recurring giving program and cultivate new partnerships with civic and local organizations. Be the voice of Many Hands: Provide timely, professional, and heartfelt responses to all donor inquiries. Strategic Operations & Data Ownership: Own the data: Manage our donor CRM (Bloomerang), ensuring data is a strategic asset that fuels our fundraising efforts. Track progress: Create and maintain fundraising dashboards and reports to identify opportunities for growth. Support leadership: Conduct proactive research to help grow major donor relationships and assist with marketing campaigns. Requirements What You'll Bring Required Qualifications: A strong sense of call to servant-hearted, missional leadership. A deep commitment to and support of the mission and vision of Many Hands. A self-starter with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to manage quotas and deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a talent for building genuine relationships. Comfortable with telephone communication, as this will be a primary way to interact with donors. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Google Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, development operations, or a related non-profit field. Experience in an international non-profit setting. Proven success in growing a monthly giving program. Bachelor's degree. Physical and Travel Requirements: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends for events. Maximum of 25% travel, which may include local, domestic, and international trips.
