Title: Development Coordinator  Reporting to: Principal Location: Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School | Venice, FL Classification: Salaried/Exempt    Overview The Epiphany Office of Development works to secure a greater base of support for Epiphany Cathedral Catholic School. The Coordinator of Development is responsible for the overall planning management and implementation of all fundraising.   Job Responsibilities * Plan, manage, and implement fundraising campaigns, which include prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. * Actively engage donors and build relationships with the community to grow the school’s fundraising capacity. * Maintain school’s donor database and update accordingly. * Update and expand the alumni database. * Promote understanding, acceptance and support of the mission statement and objectives of the school. * Work closely with the Administration, Marketing Director, Finance Manager and/or school board to set and achieve goals and objectives of the school. * Educate and engage key volunteers (i.e. Parents Association) in implementing mission-based fundraising. * Ensure all branding standards are upheld. * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of building effective communication, enhancing relationships, and ensuring a high quality of customer service to achieve goals and objectives. * Other duties assigned.  Qualifications * Minimum bachelor’s degree required.  * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.  * Excellent verbal and written communication, and organizational skills; ability to multitask. * Ability to communicate cooperatively and effectively with staff, students, and parents. * Proficient with technology including Word, Excel, and Office. * Undergoing a FDLE Level 2 background check.         *Please note: State of Florida law requires fingerprinting and clearance through the Florida DOE Background Screening        Clearinghouse for all school-based positions.
