JTA Development Consultants is a land development and project management company. We pride ourselves on delivering services that transform concepts into sustainable buildings. Our projects have a primary focus on new mixed-use housing in Metro Vancouver.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the successful execution of projects by coordinating various tasks and facilitating communication among stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong project coordination skills, experience with project management, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Diploma or relevant University Degree or work experience and familiarity with zoning, design, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in project management, project delivery, design or construction.
  • Proficiency in using software for resource planning and tracking.
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, quality management, and program management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee project activities from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Release and coordinate requests for proposals for redevelopment projects
  • Facilitate project meetings, create and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Coordinate project milestones and facilitate tasks and feedback between Clients, JTA, Consultant Design team and user groups
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions to define project scope and objectives, ensuring all stakeholder needs are met.
  • Utilize project management tools to track progress, manage documentation, and communicate updates effectively.
  • Implement quality management practices throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
  • Employ methodologies to optimize workflow and enhance team productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in design, finance, construction and approvals to drive project success.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and issues, providing solutions as necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to showcase project progress and outcomes.
