Position Summary: Serves as a member of the organization’s leadership team as the
primary liaison to the individual and agency donors. Assumes responsibility for all types of
fund-raising including grant writing.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Fundraising, Development, Management, Business

Administration or other related field, plus experience in grant writing and public relations.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nonprofit Fundraising, Development, Management, Business

Administration or other related field.

EXPERIENCE/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Five years work experience in Human Services working with at-risk families in the field of
early childhood education, that includes at least three years experience in grant writing,

development and public relations.

  • Knows and is proficient in using the structure and content of the English language including

the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

  • Current regulatory clearances.
  • Current Pediatric CPR / First Aid Certifications.
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
  • Health Appraisal.
Responsibilities

  • Ensures confidentiality and discretion of privileged information.
  • Models organization philosophy and school spirit (every staff member is an ambassador).
  • Adheres to all agency policies and procedures, including child care licensing regulations.
  • Demonstrates flexibility in schedule and approach including the ability to work some evenings

and weekends.

  • Works the days and hours to perform all assigned responsibilities and tasks in a timely and

professional manner.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor according to agency needs.
  • Functions in a cooperative and friendly manner with all center employees and volunteers.
