YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Fluent in German and English is mandatory. Any other language is a plus
  • Experience with Catia and Siemens NX 3D design tools
  • 3 years of Engineering experience
  • Relevant experiences in the automotive area in Europe
  • Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic environments
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details
  • Stakeholder management, collaboration, and political competence
  • Understanding of technical aspects in car architecture, including Body-in-White (BIW) and Crash management system (CMS)
  • Proficiency in discussing components and assembly design, and evaluating feasibility
  • Capability to lead discussions with customers regarding technical development projects
  • Comprehension of customer requirements
Responsibilities

The role purpose is to develop extrusion-based assemblies and components in collaboration with automotive OEMs and other industry customers, while leading technical discussions and coordinating development projects. It involves supporting Key Account Managers (KAM) and plants with rapid estimates, process layout input, and Engineering Change Requests (ECR), ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Additionally, the role requires working with customers CAD/CAE engineers, fostering close collaboration with the KAM team.
