REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Development Architect / Senior Technical Leader in enterprise-grade SaaS environments, ideally distributed across geographies
• Deep architectural expertise in Java-based technology stacks
• Proficiency in UI technologies: JavaScript (Node.js runtime), Angular, CSS, SAPUI5
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling, Git/GitHub workflows, software bundling, and deployment automation 1
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI frameworks for building intelligent features and developer tools
• Sound understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Ariba, or other SAP cloud services
• Background in procurement, supply chain, or ERP domains

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Expert to lead the architectural design and technical direction of our next-generation cloud procurement platform. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, enabling cross-team alignment, architectural scalability, and delivery excellence. As a trusted technology leader, you will drive architectural decisions that power global enterprise-grade SaaS solutions on the cloud

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and evolve solution architecture for cloud-based procurement products in alignment with business goals, platform strategy, and customer needs
• Translate business and product requirements into technical designs, scalable architectures, and engineering models
• Identify opportunities for architecture reuse, cross-team synergies, and shared component strategy
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility, compliance, and release readiness
• Review and guide design documents and implementation plans to ensure conformance with architectural guidelines, security, and performance standards
• Mentor, coach, and elevate junior developers and peers by cultivating a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture
• Proactively monitor architecture risks, estimate technical effort for business cases, and shape the product backlog accordingly
• Champion agile development practices, architecture governance, and quality-by-design principles
