YOUR PROFILE:

  • A degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on Embedded Systems or a similar field
  • Several years of experience in developing and leading Embedded Systems projects, along with strong knowledge of hardware-related software development
  • Leadership experience in plant operations and other company areas (e.g., production, logistics, quality, IT), as well as in supply chain management, production optimization, and lean management
  • International leadership experience, especially in working with German companies, is a plus
  • Fluent English and Portuguese, German skills are a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work successfully in a dynamic, international environment

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager (m/f/d) for our new site in Albergaria-a-Velha, about 70 kilometers south of Porto. The main focus is on leading the development department, especially in the field of Embedded Systems and hardware-related software development. The position starts on May 1st, 2025, with an onboarding process at our headquarters in Germany.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Full responsibility for setting up and leading the new site, with a special focus on the development department (Embedded Systems)
  • Taking responsibility for other areas such as supply chain management, production, quality, HR, finance, and IT
  • Integrating product lines from China and Germany into the new plant in Portugal
  • Ensuring efficient and high-quality production processes, as well as continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with international teams and stakeholders to achieve the company’s goals
