Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Development Manager plays a pivotal role in leading large-scale property development projects from conception to completion. This includes managing all aspects of the development cycle—brief preparation, design, stakeholder engagement, planning, procurement, construction, settlements, and working closely with marketing, sales and customer service. The role is instrumental in maximising the financial return of Amana Living’s property assets through strategic and commercially sound development practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee land transactions and coordinate settlement processes
  • Manage regulatory approvals and project feasibility
  • Collaborate on project funding and present recommendations to the Board
  • Lead design development, incorporating safety and environmental considerations
  • Act as Client Representative during construction phases
  • Ensure timely project close-out and defect management
  • Promote a customer-first culture throughout the development lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, contracts, and Amana Living policies
  • Lead consultants and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Uphold workplace safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement
