GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Development Manager is responsible for implementing development plans and strategies to achieve contributed revenue goals for Tulsa Ballet.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Tulsa Ballet is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Development Manager to play a pivotal role in advancing our fundraising efforts and expanding our impact within the Tulsa arts community. This full-time position is responsible for executing Tulsa Ballet’s comprehensive fundraising strategy, with a strong focus on sponsorships, donor cultivation, stewardship events, and campaigns. Reporting directly to and working closely with the Development Director, the Development Manager will be a key leader in driving revenue growth, donor engagement, and organizational sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Minimum three years of progressive experience in development, fundraising, or strategic partnerships within the nonprofit sector.
• Experience negotiating and closing strategic partnerships that drive revenue and organizational impact.
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills-both written and verbal.
• Strong project management skills: able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards.
• Proficiency with technology; experience with Tessitura, Salesforce, or similar CRM/database systems a plus.
• Passion for the mission of Tulsa Ballet and dance.
• Creative, strategic, and detail-oriented, with a self-starter attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience with digital fundraising, social media campaigns, or marketing is a plus.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment.
• Tulsa Ballet utilizes Tessitura and Salesforce CRMs. Knowledge of and experience using these platforms is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Attend and work Tulsa Ballet events including performances, Nutcracker Festival, Icons and Idols, and other fundraising events.
• Assist with recruiting and training volunteers.
