As a Development Officer, you will be at the heart of this mission, leading our fundraising efforts by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts that provide the people we support with meaningful lives in a caring community.    What You’ll Do:  * Lead Major Gift Strategy: Advance fundraising and campaign efforts by securing current and deferred major gifts.  * Build Relationships: Implement strategic donor and prospect relationship plans in coordination with the VP of Development.  * Partner for Success: Act as a strategic partner to assigned agencies to ensure sustainable fundraising plans.  * Maintain Excellence: Keep accurate electronic records and identify innovative opportunities for current and deferred giving. Qualifications What You’ll Bring:  * Experience: At least five years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing current and deferred gifts.  * Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.  * Expertise: Deep knowledge of fundraising trends, estate planning, and tax codes.  * Skills: The ability to ask for and close large gifts, conduct presentations for large audiences, and travel extensively to meet donors.  * Certifications: CFRE or CAPO is preferred.  Why Join Us?    You will be part of "One Mosaic," a team committed to values of belonging, connection, faithfulness, and grit.
