Description Join the Atlanta History Center’s Development Team! Are you passionate about supporting meaningful work through precision and organization? The Atlanta History Center is seeking a Development Operations Coordinator to play a key role in our fundraising efforts. This position ensures the integrity of donor data, facilitates accurate gift processing, and provides essential support for donor communications and stewardship. Requirements Gift Process and Acknowledgements 50% Accurately process all gifts received and matching gifts. Manage the donor acknowledgment process: merge, proof, print, and send letters in a timely manner. Lead Development in-house mailings Manage pledge reminders and memorial/tribute acknowledgements Work closely with finance to reconcile gifts and ensure accurate reporting Assists Membership gift cleanup and record keeping during high-volume seasons. Database Administration 35% Conduct routine data clean-up and deduplication to ensure data accuracy Maintain data entry standards and procedures Manage digital and paper donor files Monitor incoming gifts and record creation for accuracy and completeness Works with Director of Membership and Donor Data on internal audits of gifts Help update, document, and implement database policies and procedures related to Tessitura. Maintain confidentiality and security of donor and financial data. Support for Fundraising Initiatives 10% Create and execute data pulls, and list segmentation for appeals, campaigns, and reports. Maintain event attendee data and provide reporting support for fundraising events. Primary staff member to enter development data as it is related to appeals, attendance, actions, and other donor attributes Collaborate with development staff to support stewardship activities and moves management. Other 5% Participate as a staff volunteer in Development and select institutional events Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required and assigned QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s or Associate Degree 1-2 years of related work or other experience in database management, use of technology, and/or project management Excellent computer skills and strong knowledge of Microsoft office. Use or knowledge of a CRM software, such as Tessitura, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, a plus Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively Ability to set and meet deadlines with minimal supervision, prioritizing duties effectively and efficiently Strong project management ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including good follow-through Detail-oriented, meets deadlines and is timely Excellent organizational skills Other Requirements Satisfactory criminal background check.
