The University of York is looking for a talented Development Practitioner to join our People & Organisational Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our university’s culture and supporting our most ambitious projects, including a major HR Finance Transformation programme.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

In this dynamic and varied role, you’ll be a vital part of a collaborative team working with HR colleagues and seeing your work have a tangible impact. You’ll be part of a supportive team and get to contribute to a broad portfolio of projects, including:

  • Supporting HR Finance Transformation: You’ll work side-by-side with a Development Partner, helping to design and deliver the crucial interventions that will guide our staff through this significant organisational change.
  • Shaping the future of our workforce: You’ll contribute to the design, delivery, and evaluation of our leadership and staff development programmes, directly influencing the skills and capabilities of our people.
  • Champion wellbeing and digital fluency: We’re particularly seeking expertise in interventions that support digital change and foster a culture of wellbeing.
Responsibilities
