SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Degree-qualified in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management experience, proficient in managing all stages of a project
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from initial brief through to design, construction, and handover.
  • Excellent financial acumen with proven experience managing budgets and fees.
  • Highly digitally proficient, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • Construction or contractor-side experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in development, project management, or construction.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

You will report to the Development Director and be responsible for the project management of ultra-prime residential schemes.
Your first project will be based on the south coast of the UK. You must be willing to travel to site at least once every two weeks, potentially increasing to weekly visits with an overnight stay as construction progresses. All travel and accommodation costs will be covered.
This role offers significant scope for growth within the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development & Client Interface

  • Support the Project Director in leading processes from land acquisition through to site commencement, ensuring projects meet programme, budget, and quality targets.
  • Report directly to clients through formal reports and regular meetings.
  • Oversee planning applications and statutory approvals, ensuring timely submissions and compliance.

Project Management

  • Ability to establish the administrative set-up of a project, including documentation such as the project brief, execution plan, fee schedule, process documents, consultant appointments, action logs, and planning trackers.
  • Oversee design and construction processes across all RIBA stages, coordinating input from consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals to assemble project consultant teams.
  • Administer contract processes with a high degree of proficiency.
  • Monitor, track, and report on project fees and invoicing, integrating these into wider master budgets.
  • Manage change control, RFIs, and related project documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
