Summary
We are looking for a “Development Project Manager SPEXER® 2000 Radar (f/m/d)” for the “Spexer & Passive Radar Engineering” department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.
In the “Spexer & Passive Radar Engineering” department, the Twinvis passive radar product and the SPEXER® 2000 radar product family are developed, tested, integrated and approved by the customer in close cooperation with the specialist departments. The SPEXER® 2000 radar product family includes technologically leading products that are constantly being further developed and are in demand and in use worldwide thanks to their innovative approaches.
As a Development Project Manager, you will work closely with experts and specialists from various areas of HENSOLDT. We work in diverse teams in a very good working atmosphere. The teams are characterized by a strong team spirit. Our tasks also include providing support with project management, preparing quotations and presenting our products to customers.

Your Tasks

  • Planning and control of system development (requirements, design, analysis, acceptance, problem reports, safety, documentation)
  • Project planning of the relevant work packages and components
  • Coordination of development services with internal interfaces (development, purchasing, quality, production)
  • Resource management
  • Time and cost management / tracking development progress
  • Control of external development services
  • Planning and carrying out reviews as part of the development process
  • Supporting the program area with offers (through cost estimates) and customer meetings
  • Collaboration in the continuous improvement of products through the use of the latest technologies, e.g. AI, and through creative and pragmatic approaches

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable
  • Several years of professional experience in this field
  • Experience in the development of complex systems
  • Experience in project management, ideally in development projects
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external customers
  • Experience in dealing with subcontractors
  • Good communication skills and convincing appearance
  • Willingness to take on responsibility, ability to work in a team and motivational skills
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
