Job Purpose The Power Platform & SharePoint Senior Developer will lead the design and implementation, as well as support of applications using Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint technologies. This role requires independent execution of moderate-to-highly complex Power Platform and SharePoint solutions, including translating business requirements into technical implementations, exercising judgment within established standards, and resolving non-routine issues with minimal oversight. The role supports multiple users and projects, interacts directly with business stakeholders, and has project-level impact beyond individual tasks. Key Accountabilities Solution Development Lead development of Power Apps (Canvas) and Power Automate workflows to support business processes Configure and customize SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and forms Enhance existing applications and workflows based on defined requirements Develop basic integrations between Power Apps, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 services Technical Execution Develop and implement solutions using established standards, patterns, and best practices Create new or modify existing scripts and components using JavaScript, REST APIs, and SharePoint frameworks Perform and lead unit testing and support system testing activities Key Accountabilities Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with minimal guidance Business Support Work with business users to clarify requirements and implement approved solutions Provide user support and training for deployed applications Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and workflows Operations & Support Support production systems and lead incident resolution Apply and manage permissions following established security and governance procedures Lead deployments and change management activities Train junior staff and provide direction and guidance with best practices and workflows Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field 5+ years of relevant experience, including SharePoint and/or Power Platform Proficient in developing Power Apps, Canvas apps, and Power Automate flows Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with general guidance to support requirement gathering Effective technical documentation and communication abilities Experience installing and configuring SharePoint solutions Experience designing and implementing Custom SharePoint Web parts, workflows, event handlers, Site Columns, Content Types, Custom Document Libraries, Lists, Site Definitions, Timer Jobs, and Master Pages using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
