ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND THE TEAM

What do you think about being part of an innovative, dynamic, and collaborative development environment, building a state-of-the-art platform together with a team of experts from around the world? We are developing brand new SAP product, which will offer SaaS experience to the admin end user to set up the data integration architecture and to the business end user to get insights into this underlying data.
You will lead SAP Foundation Cockpit team in Budapest. With this new product, SAP will offer SaaS experience to provision E2E business scenarios represented by insight applications. This new SAP product will offer the ability to on-board an E2E business scenario, that brings high business value to the customer and ensures that all required technical parts are properly provisioned and connected.
To ensure the success of our team, we are looking for a development team lead who would like to build the strong full stack team which will deliver end-to-end solutions. We are looking for a development team Manager that will join new SAP strategic product development.
As the manager you will be responsible for the technological decisions as well as the development and delivery process of all the team’s products. We are looking for a strong technical leader with strong management skills.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, 3 as team leader
• Experience in agile software development and continuous delivery.
• Hands-on experience with building and delivering production-grade, cloud-based solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and Java (we want to migrate backend from Node.js to Java)
• Experience with UI frameworks (React or Angular, UI5 would be adventagous)
• Experience with cloud development, big data SaaS, micro-services architecture, and infrastructure components in multi-cloud environment
• Results driven with excellent execution skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Readiness to work 3 times per week in the Budapest office

• Ensure high code, testing, processes and code quality. You are expected to be involved in the design decisions and the DevOps processes.
• Working with Product Management define achievable feature sets that maximize the business value of the team’s endeavors.
• Inspire, motivate and enable your team on its job
• Lead a team of 5-7 engineers
• Overall responsibility for all engineering functions in the team. Quality, efficiency, timelines and targets.
• Full managerial responsibility for people - recruiting, mentoring & feedback.
• Lead technological topics.
