This position consists of a Residential rotation:
Hours are on a 2 week rotation up to 34 hrs/wk - weekend hours are included.
Candidate must have a Developmental Service Worker Diploma, a Behavioral Science Technician Diploma or a 2 year diploma in a related field from on accredited college or university. Applicants without the above credentials will not be considered. Note: PSW is not considered equivalent for this position.

Must have or be willing to train in First Aid, CPR, NCI, Pharmacology and WHMIS.
Must have a Valid G Driver’s license, access to a vehicle, ability to work throughout Lanark County and a criminal reference check for the vulnerable sector.
Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, managing behavioural challenges and complex health plans, administering and managing medication and provide personal care. Experience in developing and facilitating holistic Individual Support Plans in collaboration with support networks. Substantial experience working with families in the planning and delivery of supports.
Salary ranges from $24.59-$27.35 per hour plus a benefits package including the HOOPP pension plan. All employees also have access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program. LCSS staff are provided with ongoing training including: First Aid, CPR, Non- Violence Crisis Intervention along with additional mandatory training.
