Description Kidsteps early intervention program is seeking an outstanding Developmental Therapist to ensure the development and implementation of activities that are family-centered and promote positive outcomes! Hours: 40 hours/week Location: New Haven area Responsibilities of our Developmental Therapist will include: Evaluating and assessing children and families to assist with and planning, development, implementation, and review of curriculums and IFSP's that will meet the individual developmental needs of young children and their families. Completing and maintaining records in accordance with applicable regulations and as assigned. Performing functions of service coordinator including ensuring that Early Intervention services achieve desired outcomes for families and children served and meet the standards as established by the state’s quality assurance team. Requirements BA from accredited college or university in related field required. MA preferred. Must possess a valid initial, provisional or professional teaching certificate from the Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) in endorsements #112, #113, #065, or #165. Experience in children and family services with a focus on Early Intervention. Must have a valid United States driver’s license with an acceptable driving history as defined by Lumibility’s policy. Responsibilities

The Developmental Therapist will evaluate and assess children and families to assist with planning and implementing individualized curriculums and IFSPs. They will also perform service coordination functions to ensure desired outcomes for families and children are met.
