Description

What you will realize

Depending on the projects you are assigned, you may, in particular:

  • design and develop new applications;
  • to develop existing solutions by adding features and fixing problems encountered;
  • analyze customer needs and contribute to defining the architecture of solutions;
  • write the technical and functional specifications;
  • estimate the efforts required to complete the projects;
  • participate in the production launch and support change management;
  • ensure code quality through reviews, unit tests and good development practices;
  • contribute to the continuous improvement of our Agile methods, continuous integration and automated deployment;
  • participate in certain pre-sales activities, such as evaluating efforts and analyzing new technologies;
  • share your expertise and mentor the more junior members of the team;
  • collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an Agile-Scrum environment.

The profile we are looking for

You own:

  • a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field;
  • at least six years of experience in Java development;
  • excellent command of object-oriented Java and Spring Boot;
  • solid experience in front-end development with React, Angular or Vue.js;
  • a good command of relational databases, SQL and tools like Hibernate;
  • an understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration and deployment environments;
  • experience in an Agile and collaborative environment;
  • good knowledge of Linux and Windows environments;
  • the ability to communicate professionally in French and English, since you will be collaborating with colleagues and clients located in Quebec, elsewhere in Canada and internationally;
  • a good team spirit, autonomy and a desire to actively contribute to the proposed solutions.

This is an advantage

  • An experience with Azure DevOps;
  • knowledge of NoSQL databases;
  • experience with ETL processes;
  • knowledge of other technologies such as Node.js, Python, C#, PHP or other complementary languages;
  • experience in solution architecture, mentoring or technical pre-sales.

You don't need to master each of these technologies. We are primarily looking for an experienced, curious person who can adapt to the realities of different projects.
