JAVA DEVELOPER SENIOR

As a part of its agreements with its various clients, Procom is currently seeking a Java Developer Senior for a company in the investment sector. Our client is located in Montréal.
Job details – Java Developer Senior

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Design and implement high-performance messaging middleware/framework ;
  • Design and implement resiliency in applications using the framework and platform ;
  • Improve the SDLC, testing, configuration and Dev experience with shift-left approach.

Mandatory Skills – Java Developer Senior

  • 5 or more years of work experience with Java and distributed systems ;
  • Strong hands-on core Java programming skills ;
  • Hands-on knowledge in distributed system (for example, messaging middleware, databases and networking) ;
  • Good communication skill and leadership in development ;
  • Hands-on knowledge in Python is a big plus ;
  • Knowledge in Kubernetes/DevOps/Cloud computing/Stream processing is a plus.
