We are looking for an Oracle APEX Developer to be an integral part of our growing team. At Insum, now the Oracle Tech business unit of the Talan group, you will find a dynamic and stimulating work environment that encourages innovation and values the contributions of each member. As a key player in our organization, you will undertake important work directly impacting our customers located throughout North America and Europe and advancing our mission to deliver best-in-class Oracle APEX solutions.

Your mission consists of:

• Application Development: Design and develop robust web applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring high performance and compliance with user requirements.
• Collaborative Analysis: Collaborate closely with business analysts to understand and refine business needs, ensuring that the functional analysis aligns perfectly with customer expectations and project objectives.
• Technical Problem Solving: Effectively identify, diagnose, and communicate technical issues, proposing and implementing solutions that meet project constraints and timelines.
• Compliance with standards: Consistently apply best practices and company standards in development processes, helping to maintain and improve code quality and security measures.
• Application Support and Maintenance: Deploy applications in production environments, providing ongoing support and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
• Testing: Lead and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests for development projects to ensure applications meet quality standards before they go live.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate functional and user documentation, ensuring that all developments are well documented for future reference and compliance.
• Estimating and Planning: Provide accurate estimates of the time required to develop new modules and process change requests, assisting in project planning and resource allocation.

Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as required, which may include training the team, participating in peer-review, and assisting with pre-sales technical demos.
Qualifications

Compétences techniques :

• Oracle APEX : Compétence avérée dans le développement d’applications utilisant Oracle APEX. Minimum 3 ans d’expérience.
• Gestion de bases de données : Expérience approfondie des bases de données Oracle, y compris une expertise en SQL et PL/SQL. Minimum 4 ans d’expérience.
• Technologies web : Bonne connaissance d’HTML, CSS, JavaScript et jQuery pour améliorer les interfaces utilisateur.
• Intégration de données : Expérience dans l’intégration de systèmes utilisant des services RESTful, SOAP et d’autres API
• Connaissances Oracle Forms et Reports

• Résolution de problèmes : Solides compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes. Capable d’identifier, de dépanner et de résoudre efficacement des problèmes techniques complexes.
• Souci du détail : Une approche méticuleuse du travail qui garantit la rigueur et la précision dans toutes les tâches, du codage à la documentation.
• Communication: Avoir de bonnes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite, en français et en anglais afin notamment de communiquer avec une clientèle située partout en Amérique du Nord.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical skills:

• Oracle APEX: Proven proficiency in developing applications using Oracle APEX. Minimum 3 years of experience.
• Database Management: In-depth experience with Oracle databases, including expertise in SQL and PL/SQL. Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Web technologies: Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery to improve user interfaces.
• Data Integration: Experience integrating systems using RESTful, SOAP, and other APIs
• Oracle Forms and Reports Knowledge

General skills:

• Customer interaction and needs analysis: Strong customer relations skills with a strong ability to understand customer needs and adapt solutions accordingly.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders, and for creating clear and concise documentation.
• Multitasking and project management: Proven ability to effectively manage time and priorities to work on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or deadlines.
• Initiative and autonomy: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead projects or problem-solving without excessive supervision.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to identify, troubleshoot, and effectively resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: good oral and written communication skills, in French and English, to communicate with clients located across North America
