JOB OVERVIEW

We’re on the lookout for someone awesome who knows their stuff when it comes to electro-mechanical assembly. We’re really into thermoforming, especially when it involves laser, heat seal, and ultrasonic welding. Don’t worry if you have never used this kit, we can train you. As our Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in assembling intricate components, ensuring the functionality and quality of electro-mechanical systems.

    The work requires you to have an ONC /HNC or HND or equivalent work experience in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline and ideally you will have experience in a similar electromechanical manufacturing environment OR experience working in a similar regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex electro-mechanical systems, integrating motors, sensors, printed circuit boards, and mechanical structures.
  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate, efficient builds.
  • Conduct functional tests to confirm proper operation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform quality inspections at all stages — including verification of plastic welded joints — to identify and address defects or deviations in line with specifications and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to assembly and plastic welding to maintain efficiency.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Document assembly processes, deviations, and adjustments, and produce reports on production efficiency, quality metrics, and improvement opportunities.
