As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Device Deployment & Lifecycle Technician to join the MSP Corp. East team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Device Deployment & Lifecycle Technician, you will be responsible for the hands-on deployment, configuration, support, and decommissioning of end-user devices across the organization. You will work closely with the technical manager and other IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain device compliance, and support endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune.
Location: Montreal, QC
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00am-5:00pm
Work Mode: On-Site

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Device Deployment & Configuration:

  • Prepare, configure, and deploy laptops, desktops and mobile devices for new employees.
  • Ensure devices are enrolled and compliant with Microsoft Intune policies.
  • Install and configure required software and security tools.

Onboarding & Offboarding Support:

  • Execute onboarding procedures for new hires, including device setup and user orientation.
  • Perform secure data backup and wiping for offboarded employees.
  • Support device reassignment and reimaging for internal transfers.

Lifecycle Management:

  • Track and manage hardware inventory and asset tags.
  • Assist in the decommissioning and recycling of outdated or damaged equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of device status and ownership.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Respond to service requests and incidents related to device performance, connectivity, and software issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior team members or vendors as needed.
  • Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with HR, Facilities, and IT teams to align device logistics with employee lifecycle events.
  • Communicate clearly with end users to provide updates and guidance.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement discussions.
