Make a Difference The Device Registered Nurse functions as a member of the physician practice team, conducting duties such as: performing follow up testing of all cardiac rhythm management devices, including remote monitoring under the direction of the physician. The nurse will also support the Electrophysiology team (duties including phone triage, patient education, scheduling, medication refills, and other related tasks). The position is located on the east side in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, travel to other sites is required including CHVH (North), Anderson, Kokomo, East, Hendricks (Danville), and South on a rotation basis. East will be the primary location. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications -Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience. -Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). -Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) will also be considered. The LPN must be a graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or have three years related professional nursing experience. -Three years or more of nursing experience required. -EKG, cardiology, or PCU/ICU experience strongly preferred. -Electrophysiology/Device experience preferred. -Excellent communication skills. -Excellent team skills. -Compassionate and caring. -Accountable. -Self-directed. -EPIC experience a plus.
Responsibilities
