DevOps Architect – Salesforce (Telecommunications) Role Summary Lead the design and implementation of a scalable DevOps and CI/CD framework for a large-scale Salesforce transformation program. Enable continuous delivery, environment strategy, and release governance across multiple squads. Key Responsibilities Define DevOps strategy, operating model, and release governance for Salesforce delivery Design and implement end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using: Salesforce DX (SFDX), Metadata API Copado / Gearset / Jenkins / Azure DevOps Configure and manage Git-based version control, including Branching strategies (feature, trunk-based, release branches) Merge conflict resolution and code promotion workflows Automate Code builds, validation, and deployments across environments Test execution (Apex, UI automation, regression suites) Define and implement environment strategy Dev, Integration (SIT), UAT, Pre-Prod, Production Scratch orgs, sandboxes, and org strategy Implement Salesforce packaging strategies Unlocked packages, modular deployments, dependency management Integrate quality gates and code scanning Code coverage, static code analysis, security checks Enable parallel development and release decoupling across squads Establish release orchestration and rollback mechanisms Manage secrets, credentials, and secure pipeline configurations Integrate CI/CD with API/middleware layers and external systems Monitor pipeline performance, failures, and deployment metrics (DORA KPIs) Drive DevOps tooling standardisation and automation best practices Experience 10+ years in engineering delivery, with at least: 5+ years in Salesforce ecosystem 3+ years in engineering leadership / management role Experience in telecommunications domain (BSS/OSS, product lifecycle, order management) Proven track record in setting up CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce programs Experience managing large-scale, multi-squad delivery environments Hands-on with SFDX, Git, CI/CD tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) Experience designing enterprise-scale DevOps frameworks Technical Skills Salesforce platform: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communications Cloud (preferred) Apex LWC, integrations CI/CD & DevOps tools Azure DevOps / GitHub / Jenkins SFDX, Salesforce CLI Version control and branching strategies (Git) Integration technologies (APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft) Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure We offer you great opportunities within a dynamically growing consulting organization.
