Responsibilities:
1. Design, build and support cloud environments to create medium to high sensitive digital products with a focus on quality, security, reliability, scalability and application of the industry best practices.
2. Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available.
3. Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access.
4. Develop and maintain various CI/CD pipelines for the digital products.
5. Provide production support for the digital products, produce Root Cause Analysis (RCA) report and conduct the postmortem for production incidents.
6. Work with partners to establish relationship with their security, operations, and IT teams.
7. Team player with strong communication skills to collaborate and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
8. Comfortable leading discussions and selling your ideas to technical and non-technical colleagues and senior management.
General Skills:
1. Experience in one of the leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, etc.
2. Experience in maintaining complex Linux cloud environments, like CentOS, Ubuntu, or CoreOS, to support modern web technologies, APIs and legacy SOAP.
3. Experience setting up development environments and mechanism using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven and Jenkins or similar tools
4. Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.
5. Experience in build tools – Git, Ansible and Terraform, and how they can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
6. Knowledge of container-based virtualization technology like Docker, OCI, Podman etc.
7. Integration experience in building and using APIs E.g. Azure API Manager, IBM Connect etc.
8. Experience applying industry web, architectural and security standards and best practices.
9. Experience in mobile device management for various versions of cellular and tablets
10. Experience in configuring logging, metrics, and monitoring stack. Eg. Prometheus/Grafana/ Log Analytics
11. Experience in provisioning and maintaining SQL databases.
