At CGI we are looking for the creative and passionate DevOps Developer with a proven background in Agile/Waterfall/RAD development. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced and challenging environment and be able to work directly with clients and other CGI team members so communication and presentation skills are equally as key as the proven technical excellence that this candidate must demonstrate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• Knowledge of Linux and with distributions like RHEL, CentOS, SUSE Linux are preferred due to their integration support, suitability for critical performance operations, compatibility, and security
• Testing Skills - Testing not only means feature verification or functional testing but rather performance testing, continuous testing, and operations testing. The software code is usually
• CI/CD
• Software Security - writing secure and reliable code to protect the application from unwanted attacks. You should also devise a method to ensure that the defense mechanisms are actively monitoring and protecting the application.
• Automation Skills
• Coding and Scripting with some or all of these languages including Python, Golang, Ruby, JavaScript, PERL, JAVA, BASH, PHP and more
• Knowledge of Tools used in monitoring, testing, orchestration, version control, automation, collaboration, packaging and more
• Cloud Computing Skills – AWS/Azure
• Command on Containers like Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
• Git, GitHub
• Experience in Integrations and deployment pipelines
• Configuration of environments
