DEVOPS DEVELOPER:

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a DevOps Developer for a full-time contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

DEVOPS DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking a DevOps Developer to join the MSDE team, responsible for shaping the SDLC within the firm. The project involves modernizing the firm’s SDLC platform, enabling Gen AI, and migrating teams from older tools to a modern platform.

DEVOPS DEVELOPER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Hands-on development experience in Python
• Passion for SDLC tooling and processes
• Experience with multiple SCM systems and CI systems
• Experience as a developer in an agile, globally-distributed environment
• Familiarity with code review systems and issue tracking tools

DEVOPS DEVELOPER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for deployment orchestration
• Experience with Containers and Kubernetes
• System administration on Linux or Windows
• Experience with version control tools like Bitbucket or Github
• Familiarity with automated testing and deployment automation

• Collaborate with a global team to modernize the SDLC platform
• Enable Gen AI and migrate teams to modern development tools
• Work with developers to enhance tools and processes
• Develop and implement build automation and deployment tooling
• Integrate development tools with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
