DEVOPS DEVELOPER:

On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a DevOps Developer for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

DEVOPS DEVELOPER - JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is seeking a hands-on developer to join the Firmwide developer tools and systems group, MSDE. The project involves modernizing the Firm’s SDLC platform and migrating teams to a new platform. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of next-generation development and deployment tools across various tech stacks.

DEVOPS DEVELOPER - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python
• Highly technical and passionate about SDLC tooling and processes
• Experience with multiple SCM systems, code review systems, and CI systems
• Experience working as a developer on a large-scale project in an agile, globally-distributed environment

DEVOPS DEVELOPER – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with build automation and version control tools like Bitbucket or Github
• Deployment orchestration experience using Terraform or Ansible
• Experience integrating tools with Azure or AWS
• Experience using Containers and Kubernetes
• System administration experience on Linux or Windows

• Collaborate with a global team to modernize the SDLC platform
• Enable Gen AI and migrate teams from older tools to new platforms
• Work with software developers to improve tooling and processes
• Implement and manage tools, systems, and processes for software development and deployment
